Barkhanes are crescent-shaped dunes, which Caroline Ilacqua discovered on a trip to Oman. With Jean-François Latty she turned them into a balsamic oriental: bergamot, geranium and cumin, then cistus, myrrh and vetiver around a restrained oud, softened by vanilla.
