Kasar was one of Napoleon’s favourite Arabian thoroughbreds at Fontainebleau, Caroline Ilacqua’s home town. Jean-François Latty turns it into a creamy leather: chamomile and bergamot, clove and saffron, then cedar, patchouli and a quiet oud, the scent of a château stable.
